Privacy & Data Protection Policy

At iSAT, the safety of our clients’ data is a top priority. We’re committed to protecting your data in accordance with the various applicable laws and best practices, including the ones highlighted in the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Currently the process for registering the official Information Officer at Portal | InfoRegSA (justice.gov.za) is not working correctly. Their technical staff are working on this, and the deadline for this particular part of the POPI process has been extended. iSAT will complete the Information Officer registration as soon as that is possible.

What does the Privacy Policy cover?

This covers iSAT's treatment of personally identifiable information that we collect when you register for one of our services offered. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that iSAT does not own or control, or to people that iSAT does not employ or manage.

Information collection and use

iSAT collects personally identifiable information when you register for an iSAT account and when you use certain iSAT products or services. When you register with iSAT, we ask for your name, address, banking details (if you elect to pay for your service via debit order) and other personal details. Once you register with iSAT, you are not anonymous to us..

Information sharing and disclosure

iSAT will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone.

Your ability to edit and delete your account information

iSAT requires you to maintain your personal details and passwords via the secure login on the iSAT Web site.

You may request the discontinuation and/or deletion of your iSAT account by logging a query on our Helpdesk system.

Security

Your iSAT account information is password-protected for your privacy and security.

iSAT's systems

Your data is stored on Cloud infrastructure owned and maintained by one of the leading vendors of Cloud infrastructure in the world. This system includes a robust firewall. Additionally, operating systems on this infrastructure are maintained and updated as soon as possible after they become available.

Changes to this Privacy and Data Protection Policy

iSAT may edit this policy from time to time. If we make any substantial changes, we will notify you by email.
